    Not 1521 lumens for all the kelvin color temperatures

    Not 1521lm lumens for all the kelvin colour temperatures.So these types of smart bulbs have 3 color LEDs. [🔴RED, 🟢GREEN, 🔵BLUE]When at 2700k (WiZ app “Warm”) … [🔴RED + 🟢GREEN] LEDs are on.When at 4200k (WiZ app “Daylight”) … [🔴RED + 🟢GREEN + 🔵BLUE] LEDs are on.When at 6500k (WiZ app “Cool”) … [🟢GREEN + 🔵BLUE] LEDs are on.From my experience,- The “Daylight” colour temperature feels closest to 1521 lumens, which makes sense since all 3 color LEDs are on.- The “Warm” color temperature is the second brightest with 2 colour LEDs on.- The “Cool” color temperature is the third brightest with 2 colour LEDs on.So why didn’t WiZ add enough colour LEDs to ensure a consistent 1521lm for the whole range of kelvin color temperatures? The bulb is definitely big enough and expensive enough 🤔. Profits I guess.To compare I’ve added the Lux measurement of a standard plain 2700k 1521lm bulb from Wickes. See the attached image.4⭐ because compared to it’s Philips Hue equivalent (ASIN – B099NRG2DB), it’s great value for money.

    New App is Garbage

    I bought this light because I had owned 2 wiz lights in the past and enjoyed them. Having the light come on bright before I woke up in the morning was a game changer. But they decommissioned their old app and the new one literally does not work. I’ve tried everything, the developer said to use the in-app support but it wasn’t accessible from the pages I had access to (I’m guessing it’s only available AFTER you successfully set up your “house”, but I can’t get that far. Spare yourself, go for another brand.

    Depends what you want it for

    I wanted a brighter than usual light bulb to use on the 6200 K setting to add some simulated daylight to my living room. Like the brighter model above this, about 2500 lumens, I found the 6200 K setting had a strange green tint to it, unlike the same K setting on the 806 E27 wiz models, which produce a more natural daylight colour. The other colours I assume would be fine so if you’re looking for a brighter than usual light bulb to add the standard of warm white colour then it will probably be fine. Thanks again to Amazon for refunding me and arranging the return of the item so quickly

    Bright, good for single lamp ceiling lamps

    Brightness of 1,500 lm is higher than any of Ikea’s. App is ok friendly, had no issues to set it up. 3 regimes, controlled from the phone. Dimming is built in and controlled by the phone as well – lamp is not suitable to work with controllers that require dimmable properties like edison lamos. Overall very positive impression.
